Industrial energy efficiency

UniversalAutomation.org as a non-for-profit association manages the implementation of an industrial automation shared source runtime execution engine, based on the IEC61499 standard. And this is where the European research project E2COMATION comes into play, a novel approach toward a new integrated production paradigm based on energy efficiency and sustainable management.

Together with Dr. Gerald Ristow (Software AG), John Conway (UniversalAutomation.org) explains the components and associated software, which the E2COMATION project also uses.
