Second official presence of UniversalAutomation.org during the ARC Industry Forum Europe 2024, in Sitges (Barcelona) Spain – 6-8 May 2024.

The ARC Industry Forum Europe 2024 is an unmissable platform for anyone looking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving world of automation and digitalization.

Hardware independency based on the IEC 61499 were discussed during keynotes.

Different hardware from Phoenix Contact, R. Stahl, Schneider Electric were used to demonstrate the portability of the application.

• Nestlé held a keynote emphasizing the pivotal role of UniversalAutomation.org’s technology in their automation strategy for the future, while also rallying other users and technology vendors to join this transformative movement.
• GR3N SA, Aalto University, Kongsberg Maritime, and R. STAHL Group which are members from UniversalAutomation.org featured insightful presentations showcasing technology use cases. As our association continues to expand, we are witnessing an increasing number of compelling examples illustrating the diverse applications of this technology.
• During a compelling plenary session featuring GR3N SA, Kongsberg Maritime, Shell, VDMA and Voith Group, the focus was on the future of automation trends and technology. Once again, UniversalAutomation.org’s technology took center stage for its universality, flexibility, and appeal to younger generations.
